I came across this interesting looking center differential for the CD9A / CE9A (Evo 1-3).

Drifting isn't really my thing as I'm pursing the fine art of road racing, but thought I would share this since we have limited options for the center differential. I also searched on here and couldn't find any more info about it.

I was wondering if anyone on here has heard of these or even tried using one?
@Canadian_CD9A have you seen these things in action?

According to the description it seems like a very simple install and very easy to revert back to AWD. You don't need to remove the axle shafts.

Just looks like a viscous coupler eliminator , and then you would remove the lower pinion gear and spider gears/cross shaft. Install this onto the diff cover/upper pinion gear and retain the output shaft. Then you would have the output pinion shaft retaining the output shaft and needle bearing and it is not getting load from the center diff to the front diff. Just load to the output shaft (rear wheels).

Master Zimmer! I can't believe I forgot to ask you also! My humble apologies sir.
Here I was trying to figure out how it would work. Thank you for chiming in on this.

I have to admit it does seem like it may be fun to try out!

I wonder how it would hold up. Maybe a 300M output shaft would compliment it nicely?

Why not make one from scrap VC? But I whink you will break the 2-Spyder before you break the outputshaft.
So if you really want RWD I would weld the center diff instead
