Not much has been going on since the shootout. I pulled the block out and its been sitting on an engine stand waiting to get fixed. I re did my wire harness as well(sorry no pictures of that I will get some).

I've also been chipping away at the Turd removed the front subframe and started cleaning up the underside of undercoating and crap! Test fit the new tubular front subframe and oh my! This car is going to be awesome.

I had to just mock one up real quick. Ho-lee crap these are sweet. This weekend I'll spend the time installing windows, handles and all that jazz but for now, enjoy some sweet, sweet carbonetics carbon fiber.

I couldn't resist. I had to lay the carbon roof on to see how the finish product of the Turd will look and oh my goodness. I'll roll the car out in the sunlight today to get a better picture.

Heres some sunlight action, man does this stuff look good! The roof is just sitting on the car still. Wednesday my carbon fenders will be delivered. Painting the Turd wont be so hard after all haha! Only thing that will need paint now will be the interior, quarters, bumpers and engine bay!

Congrats again on breaking into the 9's and the incredibly badass build!!

Also, we are pretty bummed we didn't get to say hi at the Shootout. We saw the car, but for some reason didn't put it all together with the changes and that it was you!

It looks absolutely incredible :)

Thank you for the kind words! Next year 100% we will meet up, I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off all weekend haha.

looks like they fit well. might look at them and see what they offer for the 1g.

At first the seemed extremely tweaked but as you bolt it down it starts fitting better and better

This is seriously a major PITA! Driver side is nearly completed, now I have to start from scratch again and do the passenger side. After weighing a stock door with glass and a door panel on it came in at 86 lbs! That's 1 (one) door.
The carbon door is 14 lbs each plus another 10-15 lbs worth of lexan and window frame, I will weigh this once its 100% completed. If we say door is 14 lbs + lexan and frame 15 lbs = 29 lbs each vs 86 lbs for factory. That's a savings PER SIDE of 57 lbs and total weight savings of 114 lbs! Insane!

ok ok ok, THIS is the last of the carbon pieces...for now LOL I got too good of a deal on it to pass up. Sorry for the lack of updates but honestly I haven't touched the car since the last update. It's freezing cold here in Ohio and the motivation is low which is very typical for me around this time of year haha. Come January/February I'll kick it in high gear and get this thing moving forward. There is an event in April that I would really like to attend so that is the goal!

This bad boy just got delivered, once I get home I'll get some more pictures and get it installed on the car!
Carbonetics bumper and drag lip!
