Number 4 cylinder has no compression. Time for engine rebuild with forged internals.

Dang man, sorry to hear that... any idea of what caused it? Are you going to stay 2.0 on the rebuild?

I would have been there if it wasn't for recently moving & with it being mother's day weekend and all.

So far Ted's "Just-ified" H1E has held together nicely. Although, I ended up scaring the isht out of some prius owner when I lost an intercooler coupler :hellyeah:

I tore off the head, melted number four piston, it must of ran lean. Going to ship out injectors and have them cleaned and flow tested. I have a Spare block, planing to build it but don't know what I'm going to do, either buy a built block, or have some place build one for me, I'm going to sit on it for a while. I'm still going to stay 2.0 but with higher compression 9.0 or higher.

The original stock block with 160000 and a year of 32psi and years around 20 psi healed up longer than I thought.

Dave, you got anything for a build?

Yes, I'm thinking of selling a set of pistons and a crank that I've been sitting on, waiting for my next build. Both of my engines are holding up nicely so...
Interested in a new set of Manley pistons and a new 94mm stroke Eagle crank?
The pistons are 8.8 compression and they work with the 2.2 stroker crank if you use standard 150mm rods. Interested?

i think its time to do this meet again... heres a BUMP!

So I was wondering if we can revive this as well. I know the posts are getting later and later, but are there people that would still be down to do this? I just moved to the Bay Area and would love to meet some other DSM fanatics.

I'm game. I've been wanting to get a meet together. I would would be good with a friday or Saturday evening. Not sure where though
