No E85 around here so Ive been using methanol injection with excellent results for the last year now. I dont need the flow gauge at all, but it is nice to be able to glance at deep in a pull and know for sure that the methanol is flowing. Sure there are lights that indicate that the pump is active but the flow gauges sensor is right at the nozzle and confirms for sure that liquid is reaching the nozzle.
The problem is that the only reasonable option for this gauge Ive found is the AEM unit and the sensor they use fails constantly. Ive adhered to every bit of advice AEM could offer on how to help this sensors chances of survival, and have done everything recommended, to the letter. Im on sensor number 5 in the last 12 months.
Anyone know of an answer to this?
Its funny too because I found the place that makes these sensors for AEM and they happen to be about 15 minutes from where i live, but they wont sell to me.
