Hello,
I am currently attempting to swap a 3/4 faceplated gear setup from an early 90 input shaft to an 91-99 input shaft, and had a question about the 4th speed gear bearing sleeve. The difference that I see is related to the oil feed on the input shaft. The newer input shaft has the oil feed towards the hub, and the older input shaft has the oil feed in the middle of the spacer, where the groove is machined into the sleeve. I am curious as to the difference in the early bearing sleeve and the later bearing sleeve, and if I need to acquire a later 4th gear bearing sleeve. I have attached pictures to make things more clear.
Thank you,
Tim P.
