Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me what I am doing wrong? I payed and downloaded the latest version of evoscan and downloaded it then got a pop up telling me .Net framework 2.0 or later required download online. I downloaded the latest version and went through the fixing process that is on the evoscan website and still nothing. I have a car in the garage that is ready to run and that starts and will not stay running and need a data logger to help me trouble shoot! getting fed up and was trying to save some money by using ecuflash but am leaning towards ecmlink very shortly if this continues.

Yeah didn’t think ecu flash and evo scan would be that difficult but seems pretty difficult thus far. Probably just switching to ecmlink...

It's hard to say what your specific issue is, and it's been a little while since I played around with EvoScan, but the .net framework definitely has to be installed first.

Ecmlink/Dsmlink is awesome and has tons of support, and I would recommend it over EvoScan and ECUFlash without any doubt. The choice really just comes down to whether you're patient and more willing to teach yourself something to save a few hundred bucks or whether you are in a hurry and don't care about costs to have something tried and proven. Both options are capable of everything 99% of us would ever need.

I used that link to install ecuflash and have that working perfectly and all good. Evoscan is what it giving me the issues with saying I need to download the .net framework after I already have... about 3 times
