I got a little bored while waiting for things to roll in so I decided I would clean a few things up like the radiator brackets, manifold cover, fuel rail, and some bolts that were taken off in the process.

Waiting on my FIC 1050s and turbo to be rebuilt then I'll be back on the road running e85!!

Wow! how or what did you use to clean those bolts and other pieces?

Wow! how or what did you use to clean those bolts and other pieces?

Pipes were polished, thanks to my friend Will. The bolts, fuel rail, wastegate etc were cleaned using a wire wheel on a bench grinder.

This is an epic picture. :hellyeah: Congrats on the getting the tranmission and clutch out and in, it's a pain in the ass, especially a garage job.

Build looks awesome, keep it up!

Your telling me, we ended up pulling the passenger side suspension like it says in the book.. But we ended up taking it out the front, I was a little irritated haha. Appreciate you stopping by to heck out the build man!

Love the progress, sucks about the balljoint going bad. Im not sure if anyone mentioned it, but if I remember correctly those SS turbo to manifold bolts are a no-no and tend to seize/snap. But sweet looking parts! So shiny XD

Dang you 95DSMGSX, i thought he posted a bunch of new pics of his build and it was just you quoting him -_- haha

Uh oh! No one told me! We'll I do have anti seize on them, and they are ARP so hopefully all goes well. I'll post up a few pics and a few things tonight, stay updates and thanks for looking out fellas!

Haha, like I said I'll post some new stuff tonight, small updates. Thanks for staying posted!

Alright, time to update. We started to run a bit more boost about 25 pounds and my BOV started fluttering. Posted a video and log up here on tuners, I suppose it's nothing to worry about for now.

I've tried replacing all the lines, including my dedicated BOV line.

One thing after another, radiator decided it was gunna leak like a sib on me. So I pulled it out and picked up an alluminum from PR.

Damn, I'm sorry for the amount of time it took me to update my build guys.. I've done countless things to it, and I am currently swaping to an automatic transmission for racing purposes.

I'll start the update with me getting hit.. somebody with a NEW Chevy Silverado, decided it would be cool to back up into my while I was at work and just take off..

0501141914_zpsmxhbeudg.jpg

0501141914b_zpspcbf5kdm.jpg

Lucky for him, I didn't have my bumper support on.. I also had a spare rear bumper for it already, as I was gunna take this one off due to the exhaust burning a hole in the bottom..the crash didn't do to much damage to my hatch, aside from a small amount that needed to be hammered out. Here are some more pics of the tear down.

0501142113_zpsfxck9pid.jpg

0501142133_zpseejpmhcd.jpg

It was absolutely filthy underneath, so I decided to clean it up a bit..

0501142146_zpszaqekumq.jpg

0501142201_zpsm1uawk61.jpg

I also decided to grab up a rear bumper support for obvious reasons.

0502141912_zpsuowje5y7.jpg

As you can see it wouldn't meet the bumper, so I had to hammer it out some in order to get it to the correct spot.

0502142001_zpshdsihzzi.jpg

Here is the new black bumper, gah I need to get her painted sometime soon..

0502142055_zpsbxt2shd2.jpg

Well, first and foremost I decided to pull the trans, finding a few interesting things..

Here is the first, seems my OEM TB failed on me, which would be the main reason for the tear down.

0531140150_zpsowgtgrs8.jpg

0531140152_zpsuwv9up1n.jpg

Finally was able to get the trans, and T case out. Here goes another round..

0603141446_zps4wnrlwz3.jpg

0603141447_zpsehuruuax.jpg

After removing the clutch assembly I found that my flywheel, nor the clutch was in that great of shape. The disk also had a spring that was loose as well as hot spots.

0527142006b_zpsubbhc8ix.jpg

0527142007b_zpso9w2dzmj.jpg

So I decided, after a years worth of use I had enough with the using a Manual, and currently making the swap to an Auto Trans, I sold all my Manual parts, aside from a few and have been purchasing parts.. the only real thing left is the T case, trans.

Road Surge Shiftbox came in!!

Along with a few other parts, my pilot bearing, Inspection plate, Auto Starter plate and Trans plug crush washer.

Some more manual parts

Thought the block looked a little dirty... So I cleaned it up a little

0615141948_zpsjpjkpdhw.jpg

0615141953_zpsbbpuhugq.jpg

I also found this while cleaning.. scary stuff...

0618140048_zpsrvpait2h.jpg

0618140050_zpsonqw8ttx.jpg

I also broke my damn CV Axle boot pulling out my Dif, decided to reboot it and call it a day.

0619142052_zpstb0ky2db.jpg

0619142100_zpsjjtr2rqw.jpg

Cleaned the threads on the block, and installed my Pilot bearing with anti-seize, it seems to be all the way in there, but can't really be sure..

Now I'm just waiting on parts! I'll update regularly now as I go through the build. I'm slowly learning about the Auto trans, so I'm sure you'll see me asking questions along the way in my Auto thread I have. Thanks for checking it out guys!

I love what you've done with the car, im 17 and just bought a 95 gsx with a perfect body but the 7 bolt is knocking and needs to be rebuilt. Im have the same goals of power that you have so im curious what you did as far as crank, cams, pistons, and rods. I've seen many times guys saying it can handle 400hp all stock but im not too sure, from what I know so far the rods can stay just get arp connecting rod bolts because the 7 bolt rods are stronger than the 6 bolt "so I've heard". Also the crank is fine and can handle that much but im not sure about the pistons, I want to go with wiseco but not sure. Just curious what you did or what was done because it seems to be working well for you! Thanks and sorry for not starting a new thread just figured it was appropriate here!!:p

Well, laugh if you want but it's all on the stock block, with ARP head studs and bc 272 cams

Ohh but a bet you loved brians eclipse huh? Clown. Imagine waiting to drive the same basic ass sh** that everyone else have then have the nerve to call your self a tuner.
What? Why are you commenting with hostility when this wasn't about your car? And no, I never liked that green turn from that movie because it was too flashy and had parts installed for the hell of it without consideration to function. I'm the 3rd consecutive member you've verbally attacked for absolutely no reason other than to show your own stupidity. I hope the mods ban your membership, maybe you'll learn something from it, but I doubt it.
