You know what? It could totally be my ICM. When I put the new intake manifold on, I just left it dangling. I read a thread where a few people did that and didn't have any issues but I also read another thread that said you MUST ground it.

Paired with that, I also forgot to put on my fuel rail grounding wire when I first cranked it up so maybe it messed up the ICM. It's since been grounded with some 4-gauge. How do I check the ICM with the ammeter?

How do I check the ICM with the ammeter?

I believe it is in the Haynes manual if you have one handy, otherwise I haven't the slightest idea, maybe someone else would know?

You may have to replace the spark plugs again if it is the ICM, I blew through 3 sets before someone smarter than I am came along and helped me.

I have a buddy coming to help tomorrow, but I was wondering: with the new intake manifold, would I have to re-adjust my base fuel pressure?
Considering my boost gauge is tied into my AFPR line, and my boost gauge is reading 0 psi at idle, could my base fuel pressure have dropped lower than it was before?

There is a problem if your boost gauge is reading zero. It's probably not hooked up.
Earlier in the thread I talked about this issue. It reads just below 0 at idle and when I rev, it goes back to the normal -17 or wherever it was around there.

Okay, so you got link... that was the best thing you have done so far. You need to figure out why you cant log. That should be priority 1. I already mentioned its pointless to keep guessing if you dont have any data to refer to. Probably, almost, and kinda are USELESS

The problem causing your logging issues may be the same problem causing your poor idle. Did you install ECMlink? Did you personally put the chip in the ECU? Has anybody inspected it?

Focus on getting link working. It is a BAD SIGN that you can't log...

You need to figure out why you cant log.
Instead of reiterating my problem to me, would you care to provide a possible solution?
The link worked fine in my eclipse, this is a car-specific problem.
The problem causing your logging issues may be the same problem causing your poor idle.
That’s a logical conclusion, anyone know what that might be?
I want to also note that the logging itself works fine, it’s just when I try to start the car on the base tune that if I’m mid-log, the log just stops.
Tried the afpr thing, no luck there.

So it turns out it’s something to do with the new intake manifold. I put the stocker back on and everything is great, have a perfect idle.
Does this mean the intake manifold has a crack in it? How can I test that?
Is it just that my stock tune can’t handle the manifold?
