Speaking of mighty maxes, this is probably the last thing I welded. I hardly ever get to do it anymore. After years of not having an air filter on the truck, it's got one. Not exactly cold air, but options were limited.

Thanks man. This was my first time welding this diameter (1.625") so I pretty much had to guess on heat and speed settings. Also this tube has two bends in it so that complicated things as well. HahaYou got that dialed
Do you do them flat position? Thanks man. This was my first time welding this diameter (1.625") so I pretty much had to guess on heat and speed settings. Also this tube has to bends in it so that complicated things as well. Haha
Both, . With my hand, but also with my positioner. But thank you. That was done by hand? I would have sworn it was on an autorotate rig with a welder bot.
I can't even draw a straight line that accurately or consistently. Pure porn.
Flat position?Do you do them flat position?
flat position (like on a table top), like 1G position (vertical weld) , with the pipe horizontal, or do you welt it up right with the pipe vertical. (2G position horizontal weld)Both, . With my hand, but also with my positioner. But thank you.
Flat position?
Ohh, gotcha. Yes, always flat position on tubing ends.flat position (like on a table top), like 1G position (vertical weld) , with the pipe horizontal, or do you welt it up right with the pipe vertical. (2G position horizontal weld)
