So this question is referring to another car here that I'm working on but cant figure it out, the main issue is the fact it will not go past 4,000 or maybe some time 5,000 rpms but when it does it will act fine. Had a TPS high input and faulty cell come up. I added a new tps to it and I know the car sees it does to a bluetooth scan tool. The tps on the phone is saying its acting and rising rpms as needed BUT the car seems to wanna die ? Like the rpms drop instead of actually rise. Sounds like a bad misfire when you reve up but then it acts fine, till you drive it . Then back to the 5k problem, there is no cell for a tps no more only o2 sensor. I unplug the tps seems to run fine with it unplugged only randomly acts up at 5k. Car is damn near stock besides a fpr and a tiny turbo. I'm not sure about internal work but it has a stock fuel set up.

I dont have a maf 98 420a, the plugs are fairly new only maybe 10 miles on them

Did you just slap in the tps or was it installed and adjust per specs? Sometimes the tps sensor doesnt just get slapped on with out adjustment.

Its usually a slotted unit and per say at 0% throttle you should see 0.50 volts and 4.5 volts at wot.
