I’m guessing I popped some fuse. I forgot to plug in the ground for the wiring harness, when I tried to crank everything turned off. Now if I try to connect the battery, nothing turns on, not even the interior lights.
I tried the 100a fuse, switching it out with some 120a I had laying around. Also switched out the 30a ignition fuse. Is there anything I’m missing?
 
Recheck your grounds.
 
If you didn't have a large battery negative cable going to a starter mounting bolt, that manifold to firewall strap is where all 50-80 amps of starter current would go and instantly fry it. [Note you should also have a separate large battery negative cable going to the firewall.]
 
I have a trunk mounted battery. I took out the neg -> firewall wire because I put in a huge neg -> chassis ground in the trunk. Was that a bad call?

Also, I believe the source of all of this shit was because I forgot to ground the wiring harness. Now it’s grounded. Is there a fuse for the ECU or something that is stopping all power?

If you have the tools and knowledge, I would think this is a good time to test all of your fuses (interior and bay).

Just my opinion, that's what I would do.
 
The huge battery neg -> chassis ground in the trunk is correct. But then you must have a huge starter mounting bolt -> chassis cable for the starter/engine to work. But the interior (and exterior) lights should still be working. You must still have a blown fuse, bad connection, or wire somewhere. Any blown ECU fuse wouldn't prevent the lights from working.

Ah okay, I'll upgrade the starter -> chassis cable when I get home.

I tried switching over fuses from my eclipse for some of the main fuses and had no luck even with just interior light power. I have a fuse/kill switch near the driver's seat so I can flip it just to see if interior lights come on. I've tried replacing the 100A alternator fuse, the 30A ignition fuse, and the ?20A? motor fuse. The 100A alternator fuse was the only one that I thought would have caused this issue.
 
Update:
I made a 1-gauge ground from the starter.

I pulled the 30A ignition fuse and the ammeter measured the correct voltage from my positive point in the engine bay to the grounding wire.
Once I put the 30A fuse back into the car, the interior lights turned on for some reason. I tried to start the car and it cranked over a few times but the voltage was too low to fire. Then I stopped cranking and all power turned off again. I put a different (also undercharged) battery into the car, and it cranked over a few times, but this time didn’t cut all power to the car after I stopped cranking.

Currently waiting for the first battery to charge all the way up again. For new ground wires I have the picture attached. It’s starter -> firewall -> neg cable back to the trunk battery (three way connection).

Honestly not really sure what the issue here is.

Update 2:
It’s the battery. I tried my spare battery and it ran totally fine, going to try and trickle charge the optima battery overnight because it’s supposed to be a really nice battery. I’m guessing it can’t hold the load?

I also just realized I have an absurd ground system. I have the starter grounded at the firewall, and also all the way back in the trunk with the negative side of the battery on the chassis. Unless someone tells me this is bad, I’ll either keep it or delete the firewall ground because the chassis ground in the back just looks better.
