Generally I will say no it won't make a noticeable difference. Occasionally it can alter readings slightly, but I doubt it in this case.

I'm assuming this is set up for blow-through?

Do u have ecmlink, or just the maf-t?

Just the maf-t.. the only other tuning in the car is a SUPER AFC & TECHNOMOTIVE DATALOGGER that i need a MS-DOS computer to use.. i know i should get DSMLINK its just i dont have the money at the moment.. so im just getting the car driveavle just to cruise for now.

Im heading to my car now to do some test.. one of them is when i reading the packet for the MAF TRANSLATOR it says if the red light blinks so many times its a fault code and it gives you a list of what it means.. so i wanna check it.. ill let you know latterr..

Instructions state that for a 3in gm maf both mode switches 1 and 2 should be off... 3.5 gm maf switch 1 on/switch 2 off....

Turn that my 3.5 inch maf works.. And inside the translator everything works as it suppose to.. with the car fully warmed the idle is bouncing between like 900-1400rpms.. this is a stupid question but how do i find the mark on my crank for top dead center??i looked and didnt see anything. I was try a boost leak on it again..

THANKS

You have to look closely at the crank pulley and there will be a slight notch in between where there belts ride. If it's hard to locate, turn the engine over by hand until the cam shaft marks line up, then look. I usually steal some red nail polish from the wife and put a small dab on the notch. Makes it easier to see when using a timing light to set the timing..

.. ok im pretty sure i know that tic mark then. Wasnt sure if that was it.. so i put that TDC and put the boost tester m on the turbo and put like 10psi in and listen, right?

I was looking over my motor the other day and noticed im missing one of the bolts on my CAS and it also looks almost all the way "retard"... could that be why when i start my car it cranks real slowly then finaly fires.. i need to find a bolt and check the timing.. ughh

Yes, u need to see it to the 5° mark on the timing cover using a timing light and engine running. Your cas being off like that throws your timing off under all conditions.

Im gonna check my timing tommro and double check my TPS... Also i noticed when my car fully warms up it starts smoking coolant around the bottom part of the thermostat where the sensors are. Im hopping i can jusy tighten the sensors a little bit and that will solve it..... if not do i have to buy new sensors or is there o rings ?? Thanks for your help. Do you know what size that CAS bolt is??. my car isnt with me so i cant check.. also i cant find what sensors they are near the thermostat..
