I got the SS clutch line that replaces the stock line that goes from the tranny all the way to the clutch cylinder thing. I’m having issues trying to get the line tight enough that it won’t leak. It’s an 11mm. Should I try a flare? It’s ridiculous to try and tighten it when it’s in such a horrible place and I really don’t want to strip it.
Any ideas?

But maybe your line or clutch master has a burr or deformity causing it to thread in hard?
Take it apart and inspect it?
Do they look ok?

As long as you can start it by hand and thread it in I'd say tighten it down.
Use a flare nut crowfoot or make the room for a flare nut wrench & get it tight.

Dumb question, but are you sure the thread on the line is the same as the thread on the cylinder? I also have a custom line from MC to SC and both the line ends utilize a separate male-male adapter. Maybe you missed one and tried to thread it in like that? Just some ideas. Or the flares might just be bad.
