I just rebuilt the car and it wont even idle right. When I step on the throttle, seems like the response is sluggish and inst giving its full power when I step on it, even the rpms wont go up and isn't moving as I rev and for some reason when I let my foot off the throttle the engine then starts to shake like its going to die out on me. Maybe its the old gas? (cars been sitting for 8 months) bad injectors? weak battery ? low compression? bad sensors? my timing is good! I dont wanna let the car idle for too long cause I haven't even broke the engine in yet :ohdamn:

Sounds like a timing or boost/vacuum leak to me. Double check mechanical timing, idle settings, make sure ignition wires are in the correct order etc.

Also might want to check tps for proper specs.

Do you have ecmlink?

The symptoms sound like an ignition problem or perhaps lack of a tps signal. Check tps voltages, and check every coil/plug (quick test is to pull the wire on each cylinder one at a time and see if there's a change).

I don't have any cel on so can I factor out the sensors, they all look good and not corroded
Not true.
How do you know timing is good? What did you check? DId you actually perform a boost leak check? You've missed something. I've had cars sit 5 years and fire right up. Smoked for a few minutes but
ran well enough.

When I turn on the car is there supposed to be gas spewing out the fuel line if I unbolt it?

Rather vague. You mean with key on only should fuel flow continuously? No. Will it spray some? Yes. Car running? Yes it would spray everywhere
