Gotta check your connections for corrosion. Last time I had this happen, my battery is in the trunk, the ground wire attached to the chassis was rusty. Took it off, cleaned it with a wire wheel, and put a new screw, problem solved. So make sure all your connections are clean, and all nuts/bolts are tight for positive and grounds is a good place to start.

Do you know how many ground points there are on a 1g eclipse gsx? Or is that a stupid question and a bunch of people gonne bi*** that i asked that? Lol
 
LOL, well, how bout starting with the ones that get power from the battery to the starter. Battery cables (power and ground) and starter (power and ground). Make sure all that shit is tight and rust free.
