Im ready to hit the track before the season is offically over. I took the car out yesterday and realized how hard it is to get the converter online with my setup. I have a fully built transmission with a spoolinator torque converter. The turbo is a 6266 dbb. I have a stand alone nitrous express setup that needs to be wired in. Is this par for the course?

we have a 50 shot on mine to get on the converter if needed. (hx40 60mm .70 ar housing) it doesnt do terrible as without nitrous it takes about 6-7 seconds. on the 50 it takes about half of that

Gonna find out myself VERY soon. This weekend I am hoping for startup, all NOS lines and gas lines tight. Just need to wire it up also.
It looks like I can use the SmartShift 100.1's new firmware and software to activate it or have a stand alone button for activation.
This members video has me excited. He runs a 50 shot also (which reminds me to check my nozzle jetting). Seems to come up on the converter reasonably quick. :thumb:

I ended up running a 50 shot of nitrous to help me launch because of the auto setup. I honestly couldn't see myself not using nitrous at the track. I only use it for the launch after that I have it set to shut off.

Same here. I haven't made it to the track yet, but a 35 shot took @ 5-6 seconds to get @ 12psi at 4k rpm. In the video above I was on a 50 shot, which only took @ 2-3 seconds to get to 4500rpm and 20 psi. Car was on 22-23 psi in the video.....its now on 32 psi. Trying to make it to the track soon as I can. I think I'm pretty much at the limit I want to be at on pump 93 octane. After a few trips to the track I'll probably convert to e85. Video above is also stock converter and trans.
