im also curious what the biggest drawback of the awd was? at that power level what was the main weak point.
Also the awd chassis doesn't respond to normal chassis tuning techniques. I think it becomes hard to get the car to hook up well at big power with AWD.
I have been saying it for years AWD is not an advantage. Maybe to a point, on the street. At the track the playing feel is equalized. And you are right, big power AWD cars are terrible. Look at all the 8 second and 7 second cars skating all over the track.

This is beyond Awsome. I am picking up an 87 Quest at the end of July, that after I finish Gracey is done (my 97 talon build), I will be doing a red 4g63 swap.I started with the factory wiring harness and basically cut the plug connection for the ECU side off and started fresh from there.
