Arc2 box, ✓
I will be using the 2 step on the Arc box also but your video of your best test hit was pretty awesome. It came up on it pretty quick, I was smiling the whole time I watched. :D

Thanks man, I enjoy it. Actually taking the car to the track tonight just to see where it's at. Best pass so far with the manual was 11.7 @ 127 mph when I was fighting shifter cable issues. Hopefully will have some decent results to post up tomorrow. Just have the stock trans/converter in there now so not going to throw too much at it. Plus I have to get use to staging with the auto, and using the nitrous to stall all at once.... so a big learning curve coming from 5 speed.

No problem, I'm learning as I go also. Only other thing I may change soon is the addition of a Arc-2 ignition box for the 2 step instead of using link. Everyone says it will leave more consistantly with the Arc-2 bc it is ignition cut, and not fuel cut. But for now, I'm going to just use ecmlink to make a few test passes.

ARC-2 is the way to go, it’s far more consistent and will help you dial in the launch.

Well, since the stock converter wouldn't stall up to @ 2200-2300 rpm and @ 2 psi, I figured I better try to solve that problem. After playing with timing and different air/fuel ratios and not seeing good results, I installed the nitrous kit I had laying around.
I started with a 35 shot, and 3500 rpm 2 step. The nitrous got it there, but took longer than I wanted it to. Car still bogged after it started moving, so I raised 2 step up to 4k. Reached @ 10 psi, but still fell on its face after it started moving. So, I decided to let the car cool off and throw the 50 shot jets in, and raise 2 step to 4500 rpm. Seems to work a lot better. Leaves on @ 18-19 psi, and just chirps the tires. Few more tries to get everything right and should be ready to turn the boost back up to 30-32psi. These pulls were @ 22 psi, and shifting early....

Badass

Been awhile since I've updated, so I'll post a quick catch up post. Ended up swapping to a 2g head/Evo 3 intake manifold, and added some L19's in place of the old standard arp's. After getting all that done, I was finally able to get the nitrous stall up right with some help. So.... Now it's time to hit the track.
First pass I pull up and stage the car, but instead of sitting on the 2 step for a second... I just left soon as it hit the 2 step. Ended up rolling out the 60ft with a 1.78 and the 1/4 at 11.0 @ 126mph. I was still happy because the launch was turned down to where I launch on the street with my street tires, and I was only at 28psi. Let the car cool off for a while and added a little duty cycle to the boost controller and went back into the lanes. Well, it started raining. Rained just enough to get the track wet where they couldn't dry it, so they cancelled the rest of the day. Since I was so close to my goal (10.99 in full weight/street car) I was frustrated.

So... I ended up bringing the car home, took it off the trailer, and took a short drive to Mexico with the Dragy. Same settings I had at the track, I just sat on the 2 step a little longer to build a little more boost. Ended up going a 10.7 @ almost 130 in the street. Took a look at the log and boost only went up to 29psi, so there is still plenty left in the car. I think at the track it may have went a 1/10 or 2 faster.

So... Now that I have officially met my goal I had set for the car, I think it is time to move on. The car is now for sale. I'm not going away from Dsm's bc there is @ 4 more here at the moment, and all my buddies have them, but I am debating on getting something newer and more practical to daily. I still plan on making a few more trips to the track if weather permits before it's sold, and will probably turn the boost up to 34-35 psi to see what she will do turned up a little. Been a long journey, but glad to finally reach my goal.

Well... I posted the car up about a week ago for 12k, thinking that I may have to sit on it for awhile, but I was fine with that. I was thinking that I could get it back to the track and actually turn it up and run some really good numbers while waiting on a buyer. Long story short, I won't be making it back....the new owner picked it up tonight. Glad that he will enjoy it, and a little sad to see it go. Maybe she will make it back home again one day.

But who thought 4-5 yrs ago Dsm's would be selling for $12k+. Even though the price is nice, the 20yrs experience with the car is priceless. There are still a bunch I am working on, and we are trying to get them ready to make some fast passes, so I'm not going nowhere anytime soon. And everyone else knows how it works... I'll probably end up with another one
