This is 1990, C-71 Engine Compartment Wiring Harness and Body Wiring Harness Combination (small, 6-pin) connector:
The 1990 Engine COMPARTMENT Wiring Harness

Is this 1994, C71 connector? Or something else... ?

note: this ^^^ is the male connector... it is also black, as in the first image, but the camera flash reflected the light and it appears yellow..

I am asking because the wires going into those connectors are different color than what is shown for 1990 C71 connector.

the 1994 C71 goes like this (looking into those connectors with the tab on top, left to right):
male:
BR/LR/L
BW/BY/B

female:
L/LB/-
W/BY/BW

therefore, the connection goes like this:
top row:
L with L
LR with LB
-- with BR

bottom row:
B with W
BY with BY
BW with BW

It would appear to be, yes. Referring to the 1992-1994 electrical, the connector you have pictured is C-66, an engine compartment to body wiring harness combination. A quick couple times looking through the FSM, and obviously it isn't complete, here's it's pin-out.

1 - L, power window relay pin 1 to power window sub switch (passenger switch) pin 6 through intermediate connector E-59 pin 6 and to power window main switch pin 5 through intermediate connector E-53 pin 6
2 - LB, ignition switch IG2 to radiator fan motor relay pin 4 and condensor fan motor high-low change-over relay pin 3 through intermediate connector A-22 pin 5
3 - BW, ignition switch IG3 to generator relay pin 4
4 - W, sub-fusible link 3 to both pins 2 and 6 of automatic seat belt motor relay (left side) and to pins 2 and 6 of automatic seat belt motor relay (right side) straight through without ABS or through intermediate connector C-14 with ABS
5 - couldn't find
6 - couldn't find

If you need more information, I can likely dig again later this week. Hopefully that's a small start.

this is great, thank you.
the reason i was asking was to figure out where i can disconnect tail lights bc i was dealing with a short and it was smoking the 10Amp fuse in the engine bay. It looked like a connector which would disable all back lights (tail, side marker and license) but it did not. But eventually, by trial and error, I found the right connector behind the kick panel fuse box:
blowing 10Amp tail-light fuse

Fortunately I found the problem tonight. The wires which supply power to the tiny ashtray light rubbed right down to the core, shorted and smoked tail light fuse. Why this light did not burn one of the interior fuses protecting instrument panel, dashboard, dimmer, interior etc is a mystery. Here's the scenario... it took us forever to find it.

thank you again for replying. It is much appreciated.
