I run twin Spals also, One pusher on the drivers side and one puller on the passenger side. No room with a bigger housing on the snail. I do recommend them.
Have you thought about using the A/C switch in the car to turn on both fans? That's what I did.

Edit I am actually going to "steal" the Mitsumoto radiator and the spals from the Red Talon and use it on the Blue 92, as none of my stock fans will work with the new manifold and turbo setup, so I will try to get you a picture today Tony.

Not sure how to use the ac switch to turn on fans. I do eventually want to put the ac back in. I have everything except the tensioner and will need to fab the two lines off the condenser to make it work around the fm and charge pipe on drivers side

Use the wiring for the aux fan as your power source, it comes on as soon as you push the A/C button :)
Should be a relay under the hood that clicks with the button so it turns on that extra fan.
I have found my Spal's pull a considerable load and the factory connector will get hot and MELT together, so run a separate relay and have the button activate the relay to turn on the fans. This comes from experience at that little plug at the bottom of the radiator, not the switch in the radiator but the other connector that connects the fans to the harness, it will get too much load with 2 normal fans or 1 big Spal.

I had just enough slack to connect to the aux fan connector. Also had to install the fuse box for the ac. It turns on now with the ac button BUT the blower fan inside also has to be on. Not a big deal for me since this will just be a test to see if having the fans on constantly during traffic will help. The only problem is that it’s actually cool today...WTF Mother Nature. Thanks, Marty!!

I forgot the blower had to be on Tony, been to long OUT of a DSM!!! OMG

You guys were right. Drove on the highway and got it nice and hot. Parked and temp was 213 with the fans constantly running, and the temp did budge. It was in the mid 80s with almost no humidity. Going with 2 spals. Thanks for everyone’s input!

These are the fans I run:
Spal 30101522 12" curved blade puller
Spal 30100384 12" straight blade pusher

Thanks, Marty! I have to measure the clearance between the charge pipe and radiator on the d/s. The O2 dump is close to the charge pipe also. Have to really think this one over. Plus I'm looking for a turbo upgrade when the right one comes up.

I spend some dough on a turbo, and also looking for coilovers. So instead of buying spal fans, I'm going to stick the stocker on the p/s back on. Once that's in, I'm going to check the clearance. If there's enough room, I plan on using one mishimoto fan on the drivers side. What's the easiest way to wire it up? Use a relay and trigger it from the stocker? Keep in mind that I will eventually put ac back in and wire it so the aux fan turns on when ac is on.

Thanks
