How do i tune out this big dip? See the screenshot and the logs attached.
  • First time tuning SD
  • Use Meth injection, AFR drops 1 when AFR cuts on AUX maps tab compensate.
  • Purple is Wideband
  • Blue is AFREstimates

Have you tracked your VE table and tried adding fuel in those cells to see if the dip gets better?
That's where I would start at. I can't see the log, I am at work but the picture helped.

I tried but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. It might be my meth coming on that makes it rich.

Why would I add fuel in those areas? Its super rich already... ( I just realized that I didn't have the dip selected when i took the screen shot, the numbers on the bottom do not reflect the dip up top.)

Stuff I thought about last night
  1. I can pull fuel when meth comes on but that will be global (Aux maps) and cause me to have to adjust the overall global fuel up which and VE way down... Not sure this is the right way to do it.
  2. I could try to adjust VE WAAAAAAY down in those areas but wouldn't that leave a hole in the map that I don't want?

When you say that are you talking about pulling fuel from the basetipinjadjust so that its not rich when i step on it?

I'm really not familiar with tuning link, only standalone ecus. I was making more of a general statement that if your only getting the rich condition right as you mash the pedal if may be an Accel enrichment causing it to go rich and not a VE issue. It looks like your tune levels back out pretty quick so I wouldn't worry about it. Does link give you the Accel multiplier so you can tell if that's the issue?

Yeah there is an option, I will see if there is any room to back it down a little.

The ones I've seen will taper down Accel enrichment with rpm. By 3k or so the air is moving so quick through the intake that there is no need for it anymore. But again, I'm not sure how this is handled with your ECU.

You should do some more investigating before making changes to the VE table.
