here’s a lill history because I know it will come up

I’ve built the car over 10yrs now
2 summers ago she made 530hp blah blah
I’m obsessive; so I’m very meticulous

This why I haven’t had to touch her in two years now for anything.

I have verified the following
Spark
Fuel
Fuel pressure
Compression
Mechanical timing
Ignition timing

I still changed out plugs / coils/ power transistors/
Speed density sensor

And nothing...

So it’s something else not so common; that’s what I need help investigating
Thanks all.

Check the coolant temperature sensor.

Condition of capacitors in ECU? Recently had caps that were just starting to leak produce a no start condition.

While I am a 1g guy, I am pretty sure that even the 2g's use the CTS to know if the motor is cold/warm/hot. When that sensor goes haywire on our 1g's, then it produces a no start condition since it is out of its calibration range is what I am assuming.
Here is a good thread on it.....

Well mines is working fine from what I can test through link
85f on a 85f day
Doesn’t show the -40f

For redundancy I measure 1.86 Ko

I say for sure that the CTS is not a problem on your car, that is pretty cut and dried.

Being that you mentioned speed density, I assume you have verified that both the IAT and MAP sensors are working properly in link?

Also, stupid question, but just to rule it out, all of your settings in Link are still uploaded to the ECU? Just confirming that link didnt somehow reset to factory, and that its expecting speed density, plug wire inversion, etc?

So I ran a test
Unplugged all the injectors
And jumped the circuit in the starter from engine bay while spraying starting fluid into a vac line...

It ran rough

So I had another idea..

I disconnected my fuel line from the filter and then held it up and injected brand new gas ethanol free I use for my tractor into the line.

Of course I disconnected the fuel pump as well..

With a syringe amount of gas that I injected into the fuel line ; it instantly ran...

Meaning that the gas has gone bad..
Or it’s bad gas idk....
And I thought wawa was legit
.....

So in conclusion it was intact the gasoline that was preventing the car from igniting and idleling..

Yes you did.

Nope drained gas put new in;
Starts for a few secs and dies w/3
Cool lawn ornament I guess .

How did you verify fuel. I dont think you're getting any. If it ran the day before it isnt the gas

Fuel pump rewire fuse??

For the above questions
Yes I have fuel flow and pressure
I have sensors that log on link
I have also seen it with my own eyes
When I had to drain the whole tank
This bottle filled up in the time it took me to look up and shut off pump from link

It has a few times actually reved
When playing with throttle at crank
But shuts down right after ....
I can’t keep it on .

If you have fuel to the rail, spark, and you have verified ignition timing, I would look into the injectors. Check the connectors and pull injectors and have them cleaned.

thanks everyone sorry its taken so long, im back again trying things like a mad man.
i swapped out the starter and MPI relays out; Nothing........

she still cranks, but wont ignite and stay on .
if i floor it while cranking it will idle for seconds at a very low rpm .

im hoping someone has any similar experiences....

This is sounding more like a tune issue as mentioned earlier. Check your global and deadtimes, injector offsets, etc. Just to be sure something doesn't look funny. What is the wideband telling you for fuel? Rich, lean, cant tell?
Plugs wet/dry or fouled after attempting to start?

Nope
It’s the same settings as before
I’ve keeped logs for comparison .

Plugs are fine ; and new as well

Again the car can’t idle more than 3-5 seconds at max

Not enough time for any data to be meaningful.

Even tried a new CAS even though I never suspected it ...

Not gonna lie in all my years this one event has had me down longer than anything before.

When you build your car from ground up , you become very familiar with it.

And in the past it’s taken me minutes to resolve issues ...

Not this time .....

How did u verify spark? U may be getting it on all cylinders but may be weak ok some. I had this happened on my talon. Spark was present on 2,3 but not as bright as 1,4. Coils were in spec. Swapped different coil packs on 2,3 for the heck of it and ran great afterwards. Mine was experiencing similar issues as yours.
