Hello,
I've lurked on this site a few times trying to find tips on fixing things here and there that I've needed to replace as my car ages so I finally decided to make an account here. The tips I have found have been invaluable.
I've had my 1999 RS Eclipse for 12 years now and although it's a pain to work on, it is a lovely car. I've been on the fence between replacing the car with something newer or refurbishing this one so it looks and feels new. There seem to be fewer and fewer of these cars on the road where I live now and it's getting unique just because of that, so I have a bit of a fondness for it.
I don't have much mechanical skills or the space and tools to do too much work on my own, but the little stuff I definitely do tackle.
Anyway, thank you for this resource and I hope someday I can be able to contribute as well.
