My car hasn’t had A/C since I bought it and I realized it’s never had a belt and was missing the A/C tensioner so I got a belt and the tensioner but the compressor wheel has a bit of play I can wiggle it back and forth and I’m attaching a picture it looks like it’s missing a but too. What’s your input on the situation? Do I replace the compressor or is this somehow normal

That thing looks as if it spent some time underwater...

Put a nut on there and crank it just to see if it works. Now im curious.

But I'd say if you could budget it, thwn buy a new one. That one wouldnt last long anyway

Such a tight spot I’m not even sure I could get a nut on it if I wanted to. I’ll just buy another one, I just wanted to get the belt on and stuff to see if there were other issues with the ac maybe that’s why the previous owner had no belt or tensioner. But I think I’ll wait

If the slip bearing turns freely right now, give it a shot. If it doesn't turn currently, you need a new compressor anyway.

A new one will be somewhat surefire, but you'll also need to pull a vacuum, replace the compressor, then recharge the system. So it's more than just a compressor replacement at that point.

Yeah I’m just going to replace the whole ac system I think it will be better that way, on a side note my crank pulley is missing one bolt and seems wobbly. Wtf

Not a bad idea, I'm doing the same on my 97 Spyder.
And welcome to the world of DSM's, I'd recommend getting a fluidamper and some new bolts, grade 8 w/l washers or ARPs, and loctite them. Make sure the lower timing gear isn't damaged as well.
