I bought a big 16g with a fmic and planning on getting a ecm link. I want to also get bigger fuel injectors and better fuel pump. I am looking to push 400hp and was wondering what size injectors would be the best

Those would work also, the smaller injectors are easier to get a good idle on is all, unless your going with high impedance ones, which are more money.

I don't think you'll see a huge difference in idle quality with up to 850-880cc injectors. I have pte 880cc injectors in mine and it idles perfectly fine.

Either way, the 750-775cc will be fine, bigger is nice as it give you some wiggle room too.

Hope you mean race gas because I don't think you'll get 400hp from a B16G on pump gas alone, maybe with meth injection.

A big 16g is going to flow 40lbs/m at full tilt so size your injectors/fuel pump accordingly, you want to keep you injectors around 80-85% injector duty cycle (IDC).

...based off this data provided by our tech section, which is searchable, you're looking at a set of 660cc or 720cc injectors and a Walbro 190 fuel pump rewired.

^ read this, it’s all about your air flow not hp. Hp gets you in a general place but for fine tuning you want air flow. But as for that you can always go bigger on injectors and fuel pump. Especially with how well ecmlink can tune now you should have no problem with 1000cc or less. It’s might have a little difference but I doubt it’ll be noticeable or bothersome

I wouldnt recommend going to 1000cc injectors or larger unless using high impedance ones which will cost more, injectors that size end up with latency/minimum pulse width issues making them hard to get to start and idle well and if someones asking this type of question about which injectors to use they likely dont have the ability to tune those issues out or are as willing to tolerate poor starting and idling as someone thats trying to build a track car.

I agree. Definitely not without the ability to tune/dial them in. I've had low z pte 1000s for a few months now & link of course, no issues starting/idling.

I was just thinking if OP is aiming for 400, why not go a little bigger so there's room for growth. We all know the more powwa bug gets us sooner or later.
