Im new here and we are looking for a Mazda CX5 for our project. Hence, i am here to look around for some ideas.

Hi and welcome to the forums.

As you probably already noticed, this is a Diamond Star Motors forum. I'm not sure how a Mazda relates, an explanation of that would be cool.

Hi, I go here because i want to know the difference between Diamond Star Motors and Mazda motors, and which one is the best choice.

Hello welcome, as I do not know your background in automotive I'll just say that asking a vague question like that will probably not get much responses from this forum. I mean it all depends on what you like and what you're planning to do with your build project. That being said, any answer anyone can give you is really going to be just an opinion of that person and nothing more, but let me ask you this. Does Mazda have an Infamous 2.0L race motor that's capable of 2000hp?

Hi,

There is no an Infamous 2.0L race motor that's capable of 2000hp. It just has 2.0L with 153 hp and one is 2.5L with 187hp.

Those are stock numbers I'm sure, im talking about potential HP, but the question I asked was rhetorical anyway. My point was that Mitsubishi's 4G63 has proven for decades to be a perfect four cylinder platform in the racing world. There are race teams out there pushing over 2000 horsepower, even some doing close to that on a stock iron block. I don't know of any Mazda made 4 cylinder that comes close to that. Ultimately I think if you asked a DSM community which one is a better choice nine times out of ten you'll get a biased answer. Isn't the CX-5 a crossover SUV? What kind of project would you be doing with that car anyway?
