So, I am wondering about this. If my STFT is constantly bouncing around 0 between 2 and -2, why is my LTFT rising up to 7-8? Seems like the math here doesn't work out in my brain.

Because ltft is a side effect of your airflow or fuel settings needing attention. Stft is more or less just a mean to fine tune a set of injectors dead-time.
