Greetings... My first post... Introducing myself...

I first owned a '91 Plymouth Laser RS Turbo in the late 90s shortly into my college years - white with black top.
One of the best-loved cars I've ever owned - for performance and style.
Car interests have changed quite a bit over the years but I've never lost the love for the Laser / Eclipse / Talon.

I currently own a '90 Eagle Talon TSi AWD.
It currently will not start and that's what brought me to this forum.
I'm searching through and catching up on several posts that are likely related to my no-start issues.

I figured I'd post a quick intro and show some pics of my car collection.
Apologies for the dust on the Talon - the no-start actually started two summers ago :(

Welcome to the forum!!! We should have the resources to help get that thing started again. Let us know if it cranks, does it have fuel, does it have spark, what are the compression #'s and have you looked inside of the ECU to look for leaky capacitors that can do this???
Just stuff we will all ask.
Good luck, glad to have you here!
Marty

it does crank, it does spark, ECU is okay (have access to and tested with known good, same issues with it, keeping original [rebuilt in 2008])

have not tested compression but also have zero doubt that compression is okay

fuel pressure to fuel rail is fine
already replaced Ignition Control Module - no effect
also replaced Ignition Relay - would click randomly with key in On Position (new Ignition Relay will also click randomly but much less so no real improvement here as far as no-start)

i can dump gas into cylinders either via injector holes or via spark plug holes and she'll sputter-start but only for a few cycles

after reading a few threads, i'll be checking the Fuel Injector Resistor Box next
they "look" fine and pretty much "look" brand new
but i have not actually tested resistance as of yet

Welcome to the forum! When was the last time the car ran? You say it cranks, so battery/starter should be good, you say it has spark, so plugs/wires should be good, you say you can dump gas and it sputter starts, I would say maybe bad gas, clogged injectors, dirty filter sock on the pump, and just on principle, check compression and base timing

Fuel Injector Resistor Box okay...

gas can't go "that" bad in two years, can it?
even with "bad gas", i should be able to start when pouring "good gas" into the cylinders, correct?
I agree, it’s probably not bad gas, I just threw that out there, I would still lean towards checking compression maybe? I assume your mechanical timing is still correct? Otherwise I would think maybe ecu but you verified that is good as well, no leaky capacitors I assume, otherwise I’m kinda stumped man
