As the title states I’m looking for someone with a 5 axis program for 2g heads. I’ve tried fox lake, m2 race systems, English racing, Boostin, Jackson auto machine, basically all of the typical vendors here. Magnus claims they do but I’m sure it’s for a 1g head and it’s also 3500 dollars with no flow data floating around. If anyone knows someone local to them that’s not a vendor here on the forums feel free to post them.

I talked to them today and they were very friendly but said a few things that may have deterred me from using them. Nothing I’d care to publically mention other than to say we have differing opinions on part choices. They seemed very interested in helping me and were very friendly.

Before I get flamed, I’m not opposed to hand ported heads either. I’ve been “speaking” with curt brown and he’s just unfortunately so busy I’m getting 1 sentence replies to paragraphs of questions when I’m willing to write a blank check here that it’s deterring also.

Boostin cnc’s then hand cleans the ports which I assume means their cnc guy doesn’t do 5axis. Apparently it doesn’t matter all that much cause their heads work but I feel I’m paying more for the name really.

M2 is out of business I believe.

Fox lake is 1g only.

Polk got out a long time ago.

I haven’t bothered to try ams cause they left us a long time ago.

That’s all the main ones I know of that do cnc ports.

Cosworth and 4 piston both only mess with evo.

I know the casting is adequate for 8’s. Kiggly runs a very mildly ported 2g head also. Problem is, I’m not as good at this as most people so I’d like every advantage I can get.

Have you tried any local shops with a flow bench?

A little work to improve low lift flow is all you really need.

Have you thought about using a 1g head? They flow a good bit more and the low rpm stuff doesn’t matter at the strip.

Never used them but they claim to do it all. :idontknow: :idontknow: :idontknow: :idontknow: :idontknow: :idontknow:

I don’t have any shops period. I’m unfortunately 3 hours away from anything and even then they’re all old sbc guys.

I’ve got a hand full of 1g heads with various porting laying around I’ve used throughout the years. I’d like to try a 2g core out this time around as I plan to do some time attack/hillclimb racing down the road and I feel the 2g head may have its advantages in that atmosphere.

I’ll give them a call today. Thank you.

Maybe I missed it, but is there a reason you are hard-up for a CNC port? Some on the fastest DSMs ont he planet dont need a CNC port to go deep into the 7s. If you goal isnt 7s or 190+mph, I'd love to hear your logic on needed the CNC port.

I don’t need it, I just suck at going fast compared to most people and have a relatively “unlimited” budget so I’m willing to do whatever gives me an advantage. I’m not worried about going 7’s or trapping 190.

I just went with curt brown fwiw. Thanks for all the contributions.
