I've tried asking other forums but no answer I bypassed my fuel relay which was pretty easy now can I by pass my ASD ? Trying to eliminate/shorten as many wires as I can. Is this possible?

i guess you could but it wouldn't be a good idea.
Are you having problems with it?

It shorted out really bad and and idk if its internal issues or what I wanna see if I can hard wire it I used 2 different ones nothing... I wanna see if I can decide that before buying a new pcm

here is the wiring diagram

So now would I tap into it after the fuse box? Or closer to the relay

oops. i just noticed i fuct up on that diagram. i have updated it to be correct

I highly advise to not bypass the relay unless its for diagnostics.
like just unplug the relay and put +12v to pin 2 (black/red) on the harness side. That will bypass the relay and supply voltage directly.

It would be better to just track down the actual problem and fix it instead of bypassing the relay.
In alot of cases i do that kinda of thing but the ASD relay is one you want to keep like it is

Ok LOL cuz I did that and it deff didnt work I think my pcm fried but idk yet

have you tried just shorting pin 4 to ground to see if it activates the relay?
its the (red/white) wire.

I havnt actually tried that one .
So what would I jump the red and black wire to ? I believe there is only one wire that goes into it or do you mean run a power wire from the battery its self ?

Alright looking at the old harness to the relay I have a black red strip, thin red white strip, red black strip and then a black white strip that loops back to the relay

get a jumper wire, attach one end to a good ground then plug the relay into the stock connector, turn it upside down. and put the other end of the jumper to the (red/white) wire.
you should feel the relay click on

if it doesn't click on, the problem is on the supply side (+V from the fusible link)
if it does click on, the ecu isn't grounding out the relay to activate it.

Makes sense I have a old harness infront of me with all the wires . Could I use it directly to the battery ? I have the relay off the car and plugged into my spare harness in my house right now. What 2 wires should I use sorry if I'm running in circles I really am

Old harness as in only the connector for asd and about a foot of wire off it btw
