New front axles a frame rear hubs big brake kit 20g turbo injectors fuel pump wideband dsmlink devils own meth etc...

Pulled out vacuum ports in TB and filled .... bye bye emission crap
Now ready to fit up against JM Fab intake!

Moved things out of the way to maybe do something to it.
And brought home both sets of wheels. Matt said to bring whatever ones home from storage that I thought we’d want on the car but I don’t know what kinda hoodrat stuff I wanna get up to! Can’t be limited to just one set ;)

Cleaned a bunch of parts for Krakatoa, put some set screws into the block to..block..the oil squirter holes. Went off this guide CLICK. 2 of them were stuck open so I'm pretty sure that's what wasted the bearing. May have also been the copius boost 2 PO's ago put to this thing, evidenced by a ripped coupler (3 layer reinforced OMG), dented IC pipe, and axial play on the s16g.

Over the past week..

Two outer cv boots
Front passenger lower ball joint
Brake master cylinder
Bled all brakes & clutch
Flushed radiator
New Gates timing belt, tensioner pulley, and idler pulley. Tensioner still in perfect shape. No stretch in previous belt of 6+ years.
New o-rings & crush washer on power steering pump
Boost leak test to 25psi took over a minute to get back down to 10
Spent hours stripping flaking paint off the valve cover. They're banning the good strippers up here.. eco choices only now, takes 50x as long to get results.
New 225/45/17 NT555s on front, used but still good 215/45/17s Neo-Gens on rear of some nice, simple 5 spoke 17x7.5s

All ready to get started.. wouldn't start.

Compression test yielded 120-150-50-90.

Something has seriously gone awry, as the last time I did a test a couple years ago I was 165 across the board.
I rechecked,;same readings so it's not my tester.

Added some new wheels, I had 18 in motegi traklites prior.

I am considering the 3kgtsl caliper and outlander brackets & rotors this year if the car runs after buttoning it up.. even the 3kgtsl c&r are a big improvement from the dimes currently on it..
problem is no outlander (or 08+ lancer ralliart sportback -- 2.4L gts look to be single pot) brackets available on their own and cheap here. nothing in the yards..

I had a hell of a time finding the dual piston setup for my 1g. Auto parts stores couldn't even get me calipers. Got lucky when I found this kit.

A lot in the last couple weeks, but first time diving into the w4a33 to remove the OEM transfer gears that will be replaced with a set of straight cut gears. Also installed modded oil pick up and finished off the EVO3 intake manifold.
