What kinda mpg do you get and what is your setup/setups you have? In my gst I'm not sure I only drove it twice, but I know it used way more than my spyder or gs, the 4g64 felt way more powerful and either got the same or better mileage then the 420a, I'd say on guesstimate 4g63 28-30 mpg 4g64 32-35 and 420a 32-35

97 Spyder GST, 4G63T automatic got a best of 31mpg all highway, 28-29mpg more common, lowest I recall was like 24mpg. I'm really curious to see what the new awd swapped spyder is going to get. It's a manual transmission, so I hope that helps it do about the same as the previous car, but expect a little lower due to the added weight and drivetrain losses.

Your mpg will be less for sure, but you can' beat awd for drag racing or just a highly modified car that would just spin tires coming off a light, my gst full throttle off a light by the time the turbo gets blasting, it' up to enough speed to barley chirp the tires on a cool day

20-22 range. But I can't stay out of boost.

If its mostly highway driving, I get low to mid 30s. But my fuel economy plumets as soon as I see stop signs or lights.

For reference, a while back(2011) i drove my spyder down to the shootout. 20g, 1000s, 255 and cams blah blah, the car averaged 37 mpg on that trip.

A month later i did an awd swap. Same set up. Drove down to Normal for MOD. 27mpg. I lost 10 miles a gallon just making the swap to awd.

More recently on e85 the car sees anywhere from 15-19mpg. Holset, 2200s, 272s, walbro255, link v3. Pump gas is usually low 20s.

man i get 14-20 on my 98 gst spyder and around 17-24 on my 97 420a talon. i really need to do some major tune up work haha

When my car ran (the one time) I went Florida to Wyoming and averaged close to 24 mpg going mostly 70-75mph. The car had good passing power when I wanted it. It’s got 95k mi, so a bit worn, for sure. It is a 90 awd, with cosco tires.

17 ish stock. I got around 23 when I went to a shift box. Not really any bigger highway or interstate, just backroads and regular 2 lane highways.

6 bolt awd and I'm getting 17ish. That's mixed between local and highway with occasional getting on it. I'd say 20mpg at most if it was just highway.

IIRC my 2g awd was getting around the same. That had a 6 bolt w fp green & 660s make 407whp.
