Can someone please tell me what year Gallant alternator I need to purchase to Install on my 97 GSX

Look at the part numbers Bobby gave there and see if you can find one that matches.

He is in Europe. But the Autozone has a 90 amp Galant alternator that is a direct fit for the 95 to 99 Eclipse Turbo.

I feel like the part number was around 93130. Something like that. Definitely some 9310 action.

It has US numbers and a US company but all places will be able to part match the refference numbers and cross match to what is needed

Autozone Part number for a 96-98 Mitsubishi Galant 90 amp Alternator # 13391 Lifetime warranty.

For the cost i’d buy the new one part# 13585N
Rather than the reman # 13391 listed above. Have a lil piece of mine that it’s “new” IMO

Non are actually new new now, they are all remans, even mitsubishi sell remans as new units! Shocking right they still charge so much, i got a orice one for a brand new no reman cost of one from the UK and they wanted near £1000 thats pounds! I said no and went to mitsu in the US for the reman unit direct from mitsu for like 356 or something

I've been running the galant 90 amp alternator for autzone for more than 5 years now. So, yeah I would certainly spend the $140 a dozen times over. It's a better unit. I would have to argue that the regulator is the ONLY change. Matter of fact, the pulley is larger on the 90 amp. Two differences i know for sure.
