This thread is dedicated to my restoration and build of my street car.
The car is a manual 1997 Eagle Talon TSI AWD.
The 2017 goal is to somewhat restore the chassis back to factory condition, semi-stripped interior while keeping the vehicle in compliance to be able to legally drive on the street. I will also be keeping power steering, and the complete HVAC system intact.

And converting to auto.

Build list:
Stock 1995 7 bolt
Ported 7 bolt intake manifold
COMP 101200 or BC 280 cams
Kiggly HLA
Fluidampr
Ported 2G exhaust manifold
TD06H 20G, machined 14b turbine housing
Custom external wastegate setup
3" down pipe
FIC 1450cc Injectors
E85
Walbro 450
VRSF FMIC
Mishimoto radiator
Spal fans
Larger transmission cooler
Ecmlink V3
Speed density

Full energy/prothane bushings

Power goal:

She's been jack stands for over a year now. Wheel wells look great... but are they?

I was curious to what I have to play with so I started at the worst part of the vehicle. As we all know, the rocker corners on these cars will rot away.
Luckily, no through rust was found! I don't want to dare anyone to start tapping at the pocket of the corners on their own cars.. you might regret doing so!
Anyway, I do not plan to sand the wheel wells to bare metal. More to follow....

Stripped most parts. Removing sound deadening next. Then she'll get a thorough cleaning and re-wiring.

Looking good man keep up the good work. Great to see a build start off right and really getting in there and cleaning that old girl up!

I have a 9 blade td06h stuffed into a 6cm with a billet 52mmx 68mm with a 73mm extended tip and 35mm tall compressor I just need a guinee pig if anyone is interested LOL I will need logs and information to see if this turbo performs
