Planning on using this post to discuss my suspension/brake setup. I have 6 weeks off coming up and I plan on getting a ton of work done on the car.

Current Parts:
STM Front/Rear Drag Brake Kit
Non-abs prop valve
Feals coilovers 441
Prothane master bushings kit

These are the current parts I have that will be put on in about a week and a half. Never have done this kind of work before so should be interesting.

Parts ordered:
Volk rear subframe
Volk front LCAs
Adjustable rear trailing arms

Plan on using this thread to post any questions or struggles I have while doing the installations.

Okay I posted this way earlier than I was able to actually start working on it. Ran into every problem possible I think. The drivers side axle is frozen into the hub so I am just going to remove the transmission side and pull the hub/knuckle out with the axle in it still. I am probably going to buy new front hubs on both sides and front axles. If you have any recommendations on brands to go with let me know. The other current problem is the frame bolt for the LCA's on both sides are seized to the bushing so once I take the knuckle out I will use a sawzall and cut between the frame and the arm to remove these. Also going to have to take a dremel to the nut on the front sway bar end links they will nut come off and I already have new end links anyways, and I have to take a dremel to the passenger side upper control arm nut that attaches to the knuckle because when I turn the nut the whole spherical joint spins.

Currently deciding what I am going to do with the upper control arms, I could buy new ones or just swap that center joint on both sides. Need to determine what hubs and axles to get.

I have driven my 2g pretty hard and have been satisfied with Timken wheel bearing/hubs (513157). I replaced them every other year due to the harsh driving conditions, but never had one fail. As far as CV shafts, I settled with APWI replacements as they are decent quality and the price is pretty reasonable. It would be important to note that due to class restrictions, my car was less than 300 whp. If your goals are a bit loftier, spring for some of the beefed-up varieties such as DSS. They can be had pretty reasonably from part-outs. It the upper control arm is in pretty good shape, you could just replace the ball joint. The last time I replaced them, I used Moog joints, but ACDelco offers an adjustable joint if you're into that.

P.S: Enjoy those knuckle kits

Oh hey man thank you for the response! I think I will go with the Timken wheel bearings they seem to be what everyone recommends and very reasonably priced. In the future I will probably have to go with some DSS axles but for now I think I will go with the APWI so I can get this thing on the road a little faster. Can't wait to install the new knuckles and the rest of the front suspension I will definitely post some pics on here. Really appreciate the help!
