Only small progress today, but during the weekend i have ordered a lot of small bits and pieces s once they start coming in the car will start looking better and better.
Went out for a drive with my camera and snapped some pics of the ride at least.

Today the front wheel bearing is getting changed, then i hope i can use the car a bit without problems. And im waiting for new turnsignals, some previous owner put on one orange and one white, and i cant live with that!

Center caps and marker lights!

Car looks good man, wheels aren't my taste but otherwise it's clean and those new tail lights look mint!

So besides the wheelbearing the universal joint needed to be changed. This means another couple of days waiting for parts. If im lucky i can get it together before or in this weekend.

I am shocked those marker light grill inserts probably helped shave the drag coefficient down to 0.20 and the missing center caps had 2 kgs in weight savings

Such a clean DSM with weird modifications... I am glad you are reverting these mods

Hello, nice car! A few Evo side indicators for the fenders would fit well.
Mitsubishi part number MR522027 from Outlander should fit there. But I can look at my car to see if the number is visible.

Thanks, i really like that it is so clean and will try to keep the build at that theme.
Yupp strange things, but its easy to fix, over all the car is in a good state for its age, and its only fun to fix these small things!

Thank you very much! But i have a new set in white on its way already.

Now if only I could get the new CV-joint so i can get it driving again.

Cool. Looks very coherent then.

Does it have to be OEM, or can it be another manufacturer?
With the spare part numbers you can find a lot on the internet. (Ebay, Amazon, etc)

I use the following link to get to the correct spare part numbers:

No doesent have to be OEM, waiting for a supplyer to get back to me about when they can get it delivered.
Problem is to get parts to sweden and not having to wait weeks or months for it.

If a shop does not send to Sweden, but to Germany: I can forward it to you.

Are you looking for the inner joint or the wheel side?

I like it, i like the first picture. Did those headlight washers come from factory or aftermarket? They work? Never seen them on a 2g.
Thanks a lot, the car came with high presure washers original in sweden, these still works like they should :)

Thanks a lot Timo, that really kind of you! But i got a joint delivered today. Car will be up and running again tomorrow! :D

Yes they are, OEM and fully functional.

That's a cool feature! Rather large sprayers, but interesting and effective in a location that im sure ice build-up can occur badly. I love seeing all the EDM stuff and it's little differences :thumb:

So the car has goten a new bearing and cv-joint, besides that only small detail fxes, resprayed the wiper arms, cleaned out the interior and fixed some paint damages due to small pieces of rock hitting while driving (doesnt know the correct english word for it). I thought i would share some interior pics with you since there has been a couple of questions on EDM quipment.

Need to paint the ring around the cigarette lighter, and im looking for a new double din stereo, i want one that can play my old CD:s.

The cruise controll is the only thing on the cars equipment list that doesent work. Dont bother me very much, but in the long run i will try to fix it.
Next step is to give the car new fluids, and belts, then a paint treatment.
After that? Besides running it, i want to start making some engine mods, keeping it 4g63 N/A for now at least, but
probably changing to an open air filter, and some other minor mods in the engine compartement.
If you got ideas/suggestions for me on wich route to take in building the car you are welcome to share them! :D

Appointment made with my mechanic to change belts and oil on Wednesday next week.
I have orderes an new intake and an AEM dry filter from US, it will take about 4 weeks because the filter was a speciall order.
Untill then here is what an N/A EDM 4g63 looks like.

New turn indicators in place, and all belts have been changed, also new oil and filter.
Next is an alignment and balancing the wheels i think.
I have ordered an new intake and an AEM dry filter, adn some other small bits for the engine, now its just the waiting game. Thought i would try some lightpainting a night soon wheen the weather is right, this is a photo i took
of my old Suzuki swift sport.
