gst 96 with evo 3 gt big 16g my car smoke for about 30 sec from the muffle manifold area did new gasket but doesn’t smoke after and when I drive no smoking. Also my radiator hose is very stiff hard when I am driving.

From what I am understanding you had an exhaust manifold leak you replaced the gasket and now you do not have a leak anymore? Also if your radiator hose is very stiff and hard you should consider changing it because it could be dry rotted.

I can only surmise the same deduction from your post, that you fixed the exhaust leak, though the hose being hard is another thing.

Is this while the car is at running temperature? The hoses will be put under pressure once the temperature rises, and they will feel inflated or hard.
If this is while the car is cool or just after starting, that's a sign of the hoses being rotten as @Bo0sTeD 4G63 said, and they should be changed ASAP.

When the car is cold the hose is not hard and I can press it down bends but when car is hot when driving it is kinda hard stiff also how come I only add about 5 quarts when 7.4 quarts are need for full it is already full at 5 quarts?

That is normal for the coolant hoses, as I said they are pressurized when at operating temperature.

Where are you getting 7.4 quarts from? Coolant capacity? I hope not oil as that's like 3 qts over filled...

For coolant you just need to fill at the cap and then the overflow tank and drive it, topping off the overflow tank over the next couple days. It's a self bleeding system, and as air is purged by the running engine and heat cycling, it will draw in more coolant from the expansion tank, which is why maintaining it's coolant level is crucial.

In short, you may have to put the remaining quarts into the expansion tank over a couple days.

Okay got it 7.4 quarts was from Manuel book approximately I only till about 5 quarts and reserve is empty I will fill it up to full ?

You could have bad valve seals, does it smoke when its hot and it idles for a few minutes and then you pull away from a stop?
