Anyone have a somewhat decent config file I could use for my 1g?
I'm not to familiar with ECMlink just yet and I wanted to have something stable I could slowly tinker with.

I know that to have a tune you need a lot of information and I subsequently will give all the information I have:
built 6 bolt block, stock cam's, stock MAF(going to hack it) 650cc precision injectors, 190 walboro, Manual boost controller (Halman) mishimoto radiator with fans and a 4 inch intercooler (front mount). genuine 16g turbo with a 1g uncrushed BOV. installed is an AEM wideband and a Faze boost gauge, as well as an apexi SAFC.
Built trans built by turbotrix (before they went to shit in edison NJ).
if anyone can provide a base tune it would be greatly appreciated. I plan on taking it to PSI performance or Ivey tuning for its real tune, but would like something that I can have for now. Looking to run a FP red with (bigger injectors and fuel of course) eventually.

1. Ditch the SAFC. You don't need it with link.
2. Don't hack the MAF, it just throws off the readings. You can always switch to a different maf (2g/Evo/GM) or go full speed density.
3. The base tune is the stock tune. You have to do pulls and log parameters, altering things as you go to adjust for proper operation and optimal tune. Asking someone to base tune is possible, but most don't since burning chips based on best guess is kind of a way of the past.
Getting your base timing, idle, injector settings and wideband calibrated is the best way to start out
Just wait until you can take it in for a tune, or read through the ecmlink wiki and learn to tune yourself. There's also the option of a remote tune from a freelancer or helpful person (more experienced than myself).

Thank you for the response! this helps me in volumes, do you happen to know of any freelance tuners around NJ? or is there a dedicated thread for that?

I do not, most of the freelancers that will do tunes can do them remotely, requiring you to go and do pulls periodically with logs so they can make adjustments.

I'd go with what @gofer posted, at the very least watch the vids and read whatever you can find on tuning with ecmlink.

thank you guys very much! I will take this tuning info and use it accordingly
