It was something that I fabbed up, if you look closely you will find a 1g engine pull bracket from the throttle body area as my belt adjustment device, as much as I like the direct drive idea, I want to be able to not run the pump at all times if I dont need it and without pulling the pump, plus the idea that if the pump locks up with a direct drive it would likely end up in a jumped timing belt vs this setup which should just sheer the skinny pump belt teeth, of course I should add more recent pictures of it all hooked up and functional, I have had problems with the pump pulley falling off out on the highway if its not in use and no belt on it, so I now pull the pump pulley off when not in use, those things are not cheap at over $100 per replacement.that mechanical fuel pump setup is pretty damn awesome is this something you fabbed up or were these off the shelf parts?

8.9 is the fastest that I've ever had it, with slicks and a welded diff, I'm sure a professional could knock a second or so off , horsepower wise the maximum that I ever saw was around 980.How much power and 1/4 mile time? Better be low 10’s minimum
Awesome! And it's still drive-able? Streetable I mean8.9 is the fastest that I've ever had it, with slicks and a welded diff, I'm sure a professional could knock a second or so off , horsepower wise the maximum that I ever saw was around 980.
Sure, depending on what your idea of street-able is, I dont daily drive it, and actually never did even when it was stock, it was bought with what it now is in mind from the beginning, it was bought as a toy, but I do take it where I want, I drive it to the shootout and to any car shows I want but it does take work to stop and empty the catch cans, the noise, the fumes, the monitoring of gauges the entire time, the lack of cruise control, A/C, idle speed control, etc can be off-putting at times but its the price of doing business for me, I enjoy it, and for me I can only ask: When you turn your car on does it return the favor? mine does!Awesome! And it's still drive-able? Streetable I mean
I dont know, I'm not much of a writer or something I guess? haha, maybe I will get on it at some point, but hey up until recently there wasn't even a build page or any pictures.Wtf there’s only one page. Lol
