Ok so I am in the process of finally making the decision to order rods Manley TTuff but the weight per each is almost 700g. I also just ordered HD wrist pins from trend performance and each pin weighs 140g. To put it in comparison old eagle rods were 569g and previous wrist pins were 91g each so the difference is HUGE in terms of weight. Will it significantly affect the life of bearings and be noticeable on the street in terms of rotational mass? I went with ACL race standart bearings. I just want safe 650whp and 8000rpm on 2.3l.
PS I see howard has rods that are light enough that can support the demand, but it doesnt seem like they have rods for 6bolt anymore. Please chime in
Thanks
