I give a lot of credit to that young man in the picture for all of his help!
That's my son Trevor, will be 21 in August and I gave him a 90 GSX to build that looks just like this 1gb. Profile soon I hope...I keep proding him LOL.
Thanks for following!
Marty

Yes I am. Have 2 full 10lb bottles and most of the lines ran. Even a sneaky spot to put the bottle in. Will have to decide how I want to activate it, manually or automatically. I am used to using a momentary pushbutton and have at will, but I'm not sure how I will use this setup. For sure to get up on the converter for the most part, but will probably have a "scramble button" feature also. :sneaky: :shhh: :D
The bottle hides really well under the trunk tonneau cover and it sits flat.
Nice "catch" Tony!

I used it "back in the day". You just have to make SURE it is always "fat" and not lean. Back in high school (1978-82) I ran a 150 shot on a very wore Corvette 327, high compression motor in my V8 Vega. Dam that thing was outrageous. Could only use it in 3rd and 4th as I was running really low rear dif gears (4:56). The car ran 12.8 without it and I never got a slip with it on the juice, but it sure screamed when you pressed the button. A local friend has a 100 shot on his Dodge Magnum and it works really good for that heavy ass car. You just have to keep it rich and never go over your set redline, it just gets there a whole lot quicker!
On a note, I got my first setup (that one) because some guys blew up their 57 Chevy motor with it. I bought it for $100 at the speed shop I worked at and put it away. One day I decided to clean it up and use it and found out the guys had the gas solenoid on the NOS bar and the NOS solenoid on the gas bar. That will definitely make stuff go "BOOM", but their loss my gain.

Yep, gotta know a good deal when it comes around. I still have that kit to this day, plus 2 others!

Well Tony, not really. Just haven't had anything to put them on and when someone wants cheap money out of a kit with a window switch, bottle, bottle heater, purge and a 1500 lb remote gauge plus more, well, I have to jump on it. That is the kit going on this car. :sneaky:

Well I am not exactly sure of the spring rate on the waste gate but here are the 3 springs I put in it...If I have the colors right they are
Large - Black
Medium - Blue
Small - Yellow
I need to look them up I guess to make sure I don't need to put a different set in.

Magnus Transfer case cover and a Morrison Fabrications short shift transmission bracket and shifter cable mount.
Both are beautiful and fit perfect!

Curious see how the trans works for you when its all going. I done bunches of the 175 shift kits. Only a few of the Kiggly clutch sets. Just did a 2g trans with the kiggly setup and IPT end clutches same shift kit. I have three 1g autos and a 98 gsx auto now.

I am curious also. I have done auto work in the past but never had a dsm auto apart except the end clutch, which I have done 2 of. Have put in 2 Translab shift kits also, but I am waiting on BOTH of those on this car until I make sure it just moves on its own after the 5 clutch front pack change. If that goes well, the shift kit and end clutch kit will be in, I just want to limit my variables, if for some reason it doesn't move. That would tell me I did something wrong on just the front clutch pack.
Thanks for following along, I am very ready to have boost again!!!
Marty

Well we are getting alot closer to startup!!! Pulleys, belts, fuel rail and 2150s, resistor delete, coil PT, ARC2 all mounted and hooked up. Cas, tps, grnd, throttle cable, remote oil pres all mounted. NOS fittings all tight NOW. MitsumotoX and 1 pusher/1 puller SPAL's. Waiting on the trans cooler.
Added LED headlights to compliment the rest of the LED bulbs in the car for less voltage drop.
Looks the same but LOTSA WORK/MODIFICATIONS done.
STAY TUNED :thumb: :sneaky: :)

Is that a 212 Predator on the rear of the cart?

Is that a 212 Predator on the rear of the cart?
It sure is and I have one on my TroyBuilt rear tine tiller too. Wonderful little Honda clone motors and they start first pull, so easy. Makes the cart zoom and I haven't overrode the governor yet. I dont think I need to. It was MY sons toy and now we refurbished it for my grandson, Ayden. He calls it "His Race Car", and he's 3. :)
He'll have a DSM someday cause Papa has a couple extras! :sneaky: :thumb:
