I am curious if i should even bother posting questions regarding blackbox tuning or should I ask at evoscan.com or at dsm-ecu.com? I heard the evoscan forum is useless but haven't been on there yet. I am familiar with TunerPro and ECMlink but am new to ECUflash so i may have a few noobish questions.

I believe your questions will most likely be answered. Some newb questions may be met with those that huff and puff about using the search or not enough info given.
It seems like the arent many people using ecuflash

well, even if one person has some insight it will be worth it. I am going to post some screen shots first and I will elaborate later as needed.

Ok so first question:
when i try to open the Ceddy BigMaps rom i get an error. when i open the small maps rom it works just fine AND i get the option to view the big maps but the RPM and LOAD cells are VERY messed up. Any thoughts on that?

Second: Column F = tps, G = RPM, H = Timing, P = Speed, R = knock, V = duty cycle
this system is mostly stock right now other than the turbo being replaced with an E316G, Front mount, and 3" exhaust, and a AEM fuel pump with AFPR.

I think it is time to replace my injectors as the high duty cycle and knock seem to be correlated.

more screen shots regarding my selections for evoscan.

FYI: car is a 98 Eclipse

Edit: Since this photo I have changed my Wideband setting to the LC1 selection further down the list and I get readings but as of yet have to figure out the accuracy of the numbers. They are consistent but don't seem to correspond to the numbers i get from my gauge. I'll check that out and put it in another thread.

Use ceddymod evo 5/6 for ecu selection in evoscan.
I don't think you'll be able to log boost using the stock mdp
You need to open the big maps rom from the rommetadata folder with ecuflash using the folder icon in the upper left corner. If it's not there you may need to get it from ceddy if it's still available.
Duty cycle is excessive like you said I'd be looking for new injectors.

Thanks for that Too_Genecide, the ECU selection was definitely a concern of mine.
I still have to take a look at MAF scaling, and try to get my head around the load based MAP's
I have the bigmaps rom but i get an error when opening it, I'll play around some more and see what's up with that.
As for Duty cycle, I am going to increase my Fuel pressure first as it is at 40 psi right now rather than 43. Should help but i have larger injectors ready to install when I'm ready.

It sounds to me like you dont have the bigmaps rom, or you dont have it selected in the mods section at the top.
