I am having an issue with my upper radiator hose clearance. I have forward facing exhaust manifold with a 6466 precision turbo and want some ideas on what to do.

This can will won't be my daily driver, but I want to drive it work here and there. I live in CA, weather is weird. Sometime is hot and sometime its cold.

Car is fully built, and I also have a an external oil cooler if that helps.

Let me know what modification I can do to the radiator or which radiator can I install.

Thank you,

Have an elbow welded to the thermostat neck to tighten the exit radius toward the head so you can use a hose with one small bend in it. Might recommend a stainless pipe instead of the hose to help with heat, at least put a reflective sleeve over the hose.

You need an extended water neck like I made for mine.

What rad do you have? He's running a stock rad as far as his pic shows, so just extending his neck won't do much with current equipment.

I believe your best option is to get a 1G rad as it puts the rad neck more by the comp cover housing, that way its not going to get super hot perhaps melt but its a more direct path for you

2g spyder radiator is what I am running. Puts the top waterneck where the 1g is positioned.

Or have a welder cut and drill and reweld it closer to the intake side. One option is less painful. Both equal cost I believe.

I want to thank all of guys for your opinions. I ended up using a 1g radiator. Gave me the clearance I needed. Sorry for the late reply, I have been back and forth with this car. I will keep you guys updated.
