Ive been eye balling some feal 441s for quite some time now. I went on to their website before and couldn't help but notice something. The 441 kit is now standard with some white "feal" springs, while the swift springs are now part of the 441+ kit that costs 200$ more. Back then the swift springs were standard and springs rates were customizable. Spring rates on the white feal springs are not customizable. Does anyone know why they would change? I just hope I'm helping someone out here that didn't know about this.

yes they made the price increase last year and changed the kit to a basic kit for about the same price then the next version up got all the goodies, its just so they can make more money i guess and they still have a decent part of the market for that range so they jumped in and took it and still get sales

So I ended up calling feal and they said they made the change around June of 2018. They said for a daily driver, the "feal" springs shouldn't be any different versus the swift springs. Its when your heavily tracking the car is when you want the swift springs. I feel the swift springs less coils would help with overall suspension travel but I could be wrong

honestly you wont notice the travel on them springs unless you set the car up correctly and allow for droop aswel as compression, the stock springs will be good enough but the rates i dont think are good, they are still rather soft in the back at their kg rating from my personal preference, everyone says differently though

Are the feals with the feal springs worth it over all the other coilover brands? For example bc racing?
Possibly not really, most come from taiwan and these are likely the same shock housings,

I run BC and honestly no issues here with mine, yes lighter springs are good but i have been fine eith stock BC springs, i know people who race alot on BC and they never have anything spring related issues or even over springing the shock issue,

What ever you do just make sure you get the spherical mounts at least for the fronts! It will help

That's kind of what I wondered because when you remove the Swift springs and the custom valving etc. They become pretty much the same any of the other similarly proceed coil over brands. Although they do still have the sphericals so I suppose that makes them better than some.

Don't forget though, FEAL actually tests their products on our platform unlike the garden variety setups from Megan, BC, Tein and the like, I run a set with the swift springs and love them..

That's good to know, I'm just trying to figure out if the normal feals are worth the extra $200 or so over the similar competition... Sounds like they are.

Feal Coilovers are worth it. I had their 441 when it was 10k front and 6k rear two years ago I think. I actually ordered with a stiffer 13k up front so it was 100 bucks extra I believe. The best part about them I think is customer service. I switched to their 442s this off season and they figured out what spring rates would be good for me (18k front, 11k rear). I was hesitant but they nailed it. Plus the price point for what you get is great amd they do come with spherical top mounts up front. I just posted on my build thread about how well their suggested setup worked. Take a look.

Will do thanks!
