So I'm changing my oil pan on a 1g 4g63, I bottomed-out and it got bashed in, the oil pick up looks okay it's just ever so slightly dented - when I was pouring the remnants of oil out of the old pan the #1 piston and #2 piston oil squirters fell out with it, they're broken off. Everything else inside of crank looks okay, just need to know how crucial it is to have them installed. The engine is on stock internals (except for balance shaft delete) built by Buschur, HKS 272 cams, coil on plug, hybrid turbo, custom exhaust etc but no crank/piston work that I know of.

I'm sure it's just the nozzle that broke off, in which case I doubt you'd see a noticeable oil pressure drop. The issue is now you're just pumping random oil into the crank case, getting it flung all around. At close to stock levels, I wouldn't worry too much, but you could replace them or block them. Depends on your goals and preference.

Agreed with ThunderChild. 2 of your pistons will be getting adequate cooling while the other two will not. If the pan is still off it's super easy to change out this style of squirter. Might as well replace the two or all 4 in case you're worried one might be clogged and not worry about it.

The check valve is probably still in place, as @ThunderChild said. If you block them off, your oil pressure is DEFINITELY going to shoot up. These are 4 controlled oil leaks. I would replace the 2 broken units and check the other 2 for proper torque. When replacing, use (2) #MF66034 aluminum crush washers with them, one on top, one on bottom. They are less than .50 cents a piece and torque to spec.
I always run a single strand of a large copper wire into both sides of the squirter to assure it isn't clogged. I found one of mine clogged during my recent rebuild and the wire cleaned it out along with some brake parts cleaner. Worked great and verify it is clean with compressed air! Its just what I do. Hope this helps.
