Very clean Scott as always. Interesting way to mount the trans cooler. Are you going to use any kind of spacer say 1/2" between cooler and body?
Thank you. I'm just leaving the cooler as is. If temps get out of control i'll add a slim fan.

Built the headlight mounts and installed the aerocatch hood pins.

hell yea scott car sounds amazing! whats all left for it?
Thank you!

Wire in the relay board
Fab the kirkey seat bracket
Fab dump tubes
Button up rear suspension once my custom rear axles arrive

Hopefully i'll get it to the dyno in a couple weeks.

Working on some smaller stuff while I wait for my custom rear axles so I can drive the car.

Rebuilt the oil return line as it wasn't draining well enough.

Picked up a trailer for the car as well. 20' open

Made brackets for the kirkey seat and got that installed. I added a quick release wheel and installed a factory mirage auto shifter + 100.1 forced four shift box. The 1G auto shifter was too tall for the console. I really didn't see any point in spending $300+ for a ratchet shifter since I wont be shifting the car.

Kurt @ White Shed Speed @bastarddsm got the axle bars finished up for the 3KGT rear diff.

What all is left until it's finished?
Not much left really. Wire in a couple more relays on the relay board, rear axles and then fluids. I'm planning on taking it out Saturday to a local car show car and then hopefully dyno the following week/weekend.

Got it dialed in on the dyno at Whalens a few weeks ago.

First outing at the track went well at Import face off in West Salem, OH. I focused on the 60' and progressed to 10.2, 9.7, 9.4. Where it sits right now is a great go rounds tuneup. Looking to chop off another 2 tenths off the 60' at the next outing to see what it does.

Not many events until August (local 4 door shootout and then the DSM/EVO shootout the following weekend).

Not a ton of updates to share. I've just been enjoying it and racing it when I can.

2019 Shootout - I was #1 qualifier with a 9.6 in the 9.50 index class and made it to the semi finals after a 9.502 in round 2 (oops, too close). Unfortunately I broke out of the class on the brakes with the 9.5 tuneup with a 9.43 after cooler air from a storm front. Lesson learned...

A week later I took it to a local no prep event where you race from the back of the track. Lost in the finals to "Dirty 30" - a really cool drag week car.

I wish the speedometer was in mph, i think it appeals to the kid in me.

That is so badass you are going rounds in all kinds of events.

I like that shot of your white evo and the 8/9, not sure which one I like more.

Making a couple changes to the car to make it a little more streetable and hopefully get it in the high 8 range. I'm not sure if it will be ready before the local tracks close or not.

I never posted it's personal best this year which was a 9.3@146. The run prior was a 9.45 with a 1.45 60'. I added a little more power off the brake and down the track however the 60' suffered.

Some changes will include new cams, exhaust manifold/turbo placement, tires and suspension changes. I'll post more details as stuff comes in :) The car is still on the PTE 6270.

Switched to 26" Hoosier QTP's.

Any update son the car? What cams are you going with? And why the switch from the BW to 6270?
I went with Kelford 272s to give me more mid range power. I went with the 6270 since precision turbos always make pretty aggressive power for their size.

Cut out the existing roll bar and got a new cage built by Diamond race cars in Ohio. Amazing work and quick turn around time.

Since the turbo is now going to be under the hood I went with a wider intercooler to fill the front opening with dual back doors.

New manifold arrived. @MorrisonFab consolidated T4 divided top mount. Pictured is a 7285 that i'll be dialing in early summer for super street @ WCF.

Last not but least, HOOD STRUTS. Using random props was not ideal.

Waiting on some other stuff to arrive. The goal is to have it running in a couple weeks and then get it back on the dyno.

I have another long block here (3/4 fill 2.0 with diamond pistons connected to R&R rods) that I was planning on putting in mid summer in preparation for WCF with the 7285. I decided to just put it in now while it's off-season.
