I'm not going to lie. I'm clueless when it comes to working on and upgrading a car. All I can really do right now is paint the hood so that's what i'm doing. It was my fathers and now it's mine. I have big hopes for it but I have no idea where to start. She technically runs but isn't currently on the road. The dash lights are out and so is the cruise control. I'm thinking if i'm gonna start with anything I might as well get the lights working.

The cruise control problem is most likely a vacuum leak.
The dash lights could be a blown fuse.

Ill look into the cruise control nkw that i know where to start and ill check the fuses but i figured it was wiring because they worked when i got the car and then stopped and started working at random time. Some trips theyd be on the whole trip. Others they wouldnt light up at all. Somtimes theyd even flicker on and off during the trip at random times. Thank you again. Im not to car tech savy...
