Wow so where to start , I finally bought me a GSX Always wanted one since high school especially when Fast and furious came out. But life too busy and more important things to buy. Fast forward to today and I finally have one. A 95 GSX Auto, bought it off some kid that wanted to build it but never did he said it been parked cause it would over heat and turn off. Showed me a bunch of things the previous owner did and I was like ehh I'm gonna rebuild it anyways so no biggie . . .here it is the day I got it , it needed to be painted cause originally it was red and he rattle canned it white, he used 4 inch wood screws to mount the side skirts and door panels , 4 screws to hole on front and rear bumpers the wiring harness under the engine was broken and zip tied. No ac. I had took it around the block for a test drive. You would get on the throttle and it would take some time to pick up. I thought maybe a boost leak or something right ? Well I said screw it and bought it. On the way home we go .

So that night I got home after dark and had to wait for the next day to start working on it. He said it was completely stock never did anything to it but a timing job with new belts and tensioners and tranny filter and flush. He said it was over heating and you would have to jump start it to turn on. So I buy a waterpump and alternator to get things going already. I start reading on the forum about battery relocation and thought well now would be the perfect time to move the battery to the trunk so I find a nice thread and order all the parts. The next day I jack up the car and put it on stands , I looked under the car and see a huge dent in the oil pan. So I need to buy a new one as the turbo return line is leaking from there. I see a few dents and stuff along the bottom where I put my Jack stands on. I take off the hood, fenders , the bumpers, side skirts , the head and tail lights and I throw all that stuff away cause they're cracked ripped dented and no good so I'll just order all new parts. I pressure wash all the spider webs, dirt and oil off the car so now its clean and ready to work on. Welp that took all day and it was my last day off so had to leave it at that and get ready for my 14 day hitch. The whole 14 days I am looking at parts and stuff to buy and replace for the car and I'm like damn I can't find any good stock cheap parts online. I found a bumper from Amazon but no side skirts and rear bumper. Couple days go buy and I find this 98 GST for a couple hundred bucks no engine harness or title and I'm like hell I'll just buy that. So I ordered all those parts and it's finally days off. I go pick up that spare parts car everything's good just cut up harness, no title ac is gone and dash is gone. Came with a exhaust apexi boost controller, boost and air fuel gauge with piller. All good fenders bumper, side skirts and I think it's a win whole second motor with 5 speed tranny. I then set it up my GSX in my garage and start going at it to replace the water pump and alternator and oh man what was I thinking there's wires everywhere not connected , spliced but not hooked up right. They cut the wires and just twisted them. No crimps no soldering, no electrical tape . He used fricken scotch tape I'm like wow . So then I start looking online and stuff. He took out the ac compressor, the condenser and few other hoses. He did the egr delete and plug up some vaccum lines he left the big canister there under the battery with only a turbo line hooked up to it . So I will have to recheck all that stuff later. Well I start taking pics and writing stuff down. And start taking things about to do the water pump and alternator and other things to start learning. I took off all the intercooler hoses and pipes. The radiator was hard wired to the battery with no fuse. But wasn't connected correctly. I drained it and got like a cup of coolant out, I took off all the hoses and then started taking off the exhaust manifold and turbo, all the bolts and nuts were different some screws some studs , then that's when I notice the bolts and holes are stripped and I'm like gaahhh WTF, I get online and ask questions everyone pointed me in the direction of helicoil so I checked that out and ordered it. I then go on to see what's next. I see a coolant fitting that's on the block connected to the turbo It was bent and they cracked the tubing. So Maybe the fan not being connected right and the coolant leak from there caused it to overheat ??? Well I replace that from the donor car and continue going over and seeing what's else is wrong. Motor mount bushing is gone so I take that off and replace it from the donor. I see the abs lines and stuff so I do the abs delete and start ripping all that stuff out since the donor is non abs another win there. I thought about pulling my power steering but I'll figure that out later. So finally I get to the real point and I replace my water pump and alternator my camshafts both moved I had them marked and put it back to where it was but I'm sure I still need a timing job ??? I did take off the tension and stuff so yeah let me know. By this time it's my 2nd to last day so I'm tired of working on it and take the weekend off. I only have 7 days off , so I'll finish it when I get back home after more parts come in the mail.

So I guess my overall plans are to build this thing to be capable of about 850+ or so. I plan on buying all the parts until I have everything to do the build at once. I don't want to buy and put on. But for right now I just want to get it rolling and running right. I will go through it and replace all fluids and lines i can. I've been looking online and I want to get a wideband, ecm link and new FMIC . Any recommendations. I don't want to have to buy all this stuff over again , so I'm wondering could I buy the ets short pipe intercooler and run the stock turbo on it ? Could I buy and replace the fuel pump and put the 455lph walnut pump in already and get a FPR ? Remember it's completely stock GSX , I'm just wondering if I can buy these parts right now and put them in. Any help and recommendations, links for wideband which one ? This is my first DSM, I know it ain't gonna be easy
