I know it may be a stupid question, but I have no idea :)
So I have an EUDM Eclipse GSi (the one with the N/A 4g63) I put a turbo on it and now the oem clutch can't hold the performance. I'm planning on changing the clutch but I don't know if I need to change the flywheel. If I buy a clutch kit for a Gst, is it direct bolt on?
All I could find out is that they are the same diameter, but that's just one thing so I'm still not sure
Thanks for the help

Yes, just make sure you're buying a 7-bolt clutch kit.

The only thing different about an N/A 4g63 and a 4g63t is some of the internals. Turbo 4g has stuff like oil squirters, and forged pistons, but nothing is different about the clutch/flywheel combo.

EDIT: This comment is mislead, ignore it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't all dsm 4g63 clutches interchangeable?
And turbo motors have stock forged pistons?

@motomattx is correct. Between 1g/2g turbo clutch yes, the pressure plate and the disc are the same. I am not sure about EDM 2G Non-turbo 4g63 but 1G Non-turbo and turbo flywheel are completely different. Non-turbo flywheel is not stepped.
And no, turbo motors don't have forged pistons as stock. They are cast and just have different compression ratio from non-turbo.

You guys are confusing. Non turbo 4g63 uses a flat flywheel including Eu 2g. No a turbo clutch wont work. You would need a turbo flywheel too. I am unsure if the turbo flywheel would work in a non turbo trans. You will have to research further

Thats right, he is messing with a n/t 4g63 (not paying attention) they use different parts, but anyway they arent the same as all 4g63 was my point.
