The thread size is correct and the inverted flare fits in the line, but the male flare is to large to even fit in the end of the line. I think if I get one with a smaller flow diameter it will fix that problem.Does it not thread together? I wouldn't be too concerned about the actual flow diameter, as long as it threads together and secures you really won't notice a difference.
If it doesn't thread together and the problem is that the fittings threads are too large for the line, you will probably need a -3an fitting with the double flare side the same as the first piece you ordered. I just need clarification on what part "isn't fitting".
This is why I recommended measuring and checking sizes before ordering anything.
